‘theHunter: Call of the Wild’ Gets New Content Update

I have to admit that at first, I wasn’t really into hunting games. I considered them sort of boring. But eventually, with a little patience, the thrill of the hunt took me over and I began to appreciate the rather niche genre.

After spending some time with the latest hunting game, TtheHunter: Call of the Wild, I’m pretty much sold. It offers the most immersive hunting experience ever created and let’s you explore a visually breathtaking, technically groundbreaking, vast open world.

You’ll enter into a beautiful open world teeming with life, from majestic deer and awe-inspiring bison, down to the countless birds, critters and insects of the wilderness. Every inch of the 50-square mile world is crafted using Apex, award-winning technology crafted during a decade of developing explosive action games.

Not only that, but in addition to its rich single player experience, theHunter: Call of the Wild offers unique multiplayer options – cooperative and competitive – for up to 8 players. Share the ultimate hunting experience, and earn those bragging rights!

Developer Expansive Worlds’ immersive hunting game gets expanded with a new alpine reserve and the Granite Update, which includes a framerate boost of up to 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, Cosmetics, and performance improvements. In a surprise move, you’re invited to explore the peaks of the New England Mountains, a new alpine reserve and the latest DLC for theHunter: Call of the Wild.

This brand new reserve gives Hunters the chance to explore and relax in stunning surroundings, hunt for three Great Ones, including the all-new Moose, and customize their weapons with unique New England Mountains-styled cosmetics.

This extreme region is roughly a quarter of the state of New Hampshire, as well as portions of Western Maine, and the White Mountains in the northern Appalachians served as the inspiration for the New England Mountains reserve. This gigantic new area gives Hunters a wonderful new area to explore, and it is teeming with wildlife to stalk and natural beauty to take in. So grab your gear and explore the majesty that is the New England Mountains!

Key Features:

  • Explore and hunt game in stunning surroundings: The New England Mountains reserve features varied landscapes shaped by the passing of time, from open alpine regions to coniferous and mixed woodlands interspersed with lakes and rivers. • In the uplands and through the trees of the New England Mountains, Hunters have a wealth of wildlife to hunt – from the humble Ring-necked Pheasant to the sneaky Coyote and the majestic Moose. Speaking of the Moose, this gentle giant is now present as one of the extremely rare Great Ones alongside the equally giant Black Bear and the graceful Whitetail Deer. Not only do the Moose and Whitetail Deer have the Great One status in common – along with the stunning Red Fox, they are also among the three beautifully refined animals, who now look better than ever.
  • Utilize exciting new weapons and unique cosmetics: Visit the Weapons Cache at any Outpost, and you will find a new weapon waiting for you.
