For Xbox players, they can choose whether to play the game in either Performance mode (at 60 FPS/1080 px) or Beauty mode (at 30 FPS/4K).
Deep Silver also announced that the game’s upgraded version would be free to all current game owners. So players who own the game’s PS4 version or Xbox One version are entitled to a free upgrade to the new PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.
Saints Row: The Third was initially released in 2011 and was developed by Volition. It was published back then by THQ and made available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It was later on released for Nintendo Switch on May 10, 2019.
The game is the third installment in The Saints Row series and the sequel to 2018’s Saints Row 2. The plot takes after the events of Saints Row 2, wherein the Saints gang have grown into a media and now runs a consumer empire with their own brand. The player takes control of the same unnamed character, who became the 3rd Street Saints gang leader. In Saints Row: The Third, the player, and the gang find themselves stranded in the city of Steelport. Here, they are caught in a war against a gang called the Syndicate, which controls Steelport. While fighting against the Syndicate, the Saints must also do their best to contend with the S.T.A.G., a violent paramilitary aiming to restore order in Steelport.
