According to the announcement posted on Marvel’s Avengers Twitter, Square Enix has confirmed that Marvel’s Avengers’ next War Table will be revealed on February 16, 2021. The new War Table will feature Hawkeye and the game’s delayed PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version.

Hawkeye and his operation titled Hawkeye – Future Imperfect will be the next free big DLC in Marvel’s Avengers as initially announced. Its release will follow the arrival of Kate Bishop and her new operation called Taking A.I.M. Hawkeye will be the first post-launch hero that was revealed for Marvel’s Avengers. In Bishop’s operation, we saw her embark on a rescue mission to save Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, by using a bridge through time.

Aside from Hawkeye, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics first planned on releasing a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of Marvel’s Avengers. However, the release of the next-gen console version was delayed. According to Square Enix, it is to ensure that the developers will have the time to deliver a next-gen experience that will showcase all that the game is meant to be.

Although Marvel’s Avengers seem to haven’t recouped its development costs yet since it came out last year, these updates and the upcoming PlayStation exclusive Spider-Man DLC will hopefully make the game successful this 2021.

Marvel’s Avengers is an epic, action-adventure game that allows players to take on a Marvel’s Avenger hero’s role. It has single-player and multiplayer modes, where players can team up with their friends to build their own team of superheroes. The game’s initial roster includes superheroes, including Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Ms. Marvel. More characters will be added through DLC, and the game has already added Kate Bishop in the game.

Marvel’s Avengers was released last September 4, 2020 for Microsoft Windows gaming pc, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
