Jurassic Aftermath for gaming pc

Swedish video game holding company, Thunderful Group, has acquired the creators of Jurassic World Aftermath, Coatsink. The announcement came through a press release that stated that Thunderful Groups will pay over $29.7 million upfront, along with earn-out components that potentially raise the sale price to a maximum of $84.8 million.

Coatsink is an independent game developer and publisher based in the UK. Aside from Jurassic World Aftermath, this company developed games for gaming PC including Kingdom Two Crows, PHOGS, Cake Bash, Chip, and Shu. It also created VR games, including the action FPS, Onward, and the casual-puzzle game, Esper. According to news, the studio is also working on 5 announced and unannounced projects. Coatsink also confirmed that they will remain as an independent studio despite its acquisition.

Thunderful Group was established in 2017 by Brjánn Sigurgeirsson from Image & Form and Klaus Lyngeled from Zoink, in conjunction with the Bergsala Holding. The company currently operates three units: Thunderful Development, Thunderful Publishing, and Thunderful Distribution.

The Thunderful Development consists of Image & Form International, Zoink, and Guru Games. Meanwhile, Thunderful Publishing is in charge of the group’s third-party publishing operations, including the operation of Rising Star Games Limited. Last but not least, Thunderful Distribution consists of Bergsala, Amo Toys Nordic, and Nordic Game Supply.

According to Thunderful Group, their decision to acquire Coatsink is part of its game segment expansion. They also noted that the people from Coatsink share the same outlook on what should define games. With this in mind, the two companies will continue to develop and publish great games in the future.

Jurassic World Aftermath is the latest game in development under Coatsink. It is a video game designed for Oculus Quest. It will feature a first-person perspective of a mercenary in the aftermath of Jurassic World. The player must sneak their way through the halls, evading any dinosaurs on their way to escape the place.
