Rocksteady Studios has finally revealed the main characters of their upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The four main characters include Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang.
Harley Quinn is also known as the Mistress of Mayhem, and the love interest of Joker. King Shark, on the other hand, is a demigod humanoid shark named Nanaue. There is Floyd Lawton, more popularly known as Deadshot, who is the most dangerous marksman alive. And lastly, Captain Boomerang, the Aussie Assassin that also goes by the name Digger Harkness.
According to the developers, each squad member will have moves and abilities that are unique and specific to themselves. Each character also comes with a slew of customizable weapons that they can use to bring down the Justice League. And their main target is no other than the otherworldly superhero, Superman.
Rocksteady Studios also revealed that the game will allow users to play as single-players or team up with their friends in a co-op campaign. The game also lets users play 1 to 4 co-op, allowing them to swap between characters.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released in 2022 on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and gaming PC.
The game was first announced by Rocksteady Studio last month via a Twitter post with a poster art banner. The banner featured Superman’s silhouette with the words Suicide Squad, arranged as a crosshair over his head.
The development of the Suicide Squad game was first considered as a possibility after the post-credit of Batman: Arkham Origins was revealed. The post-credit scene showed Deathstroke being invited by Amanda Waller to join the Suicide Squad. Since then, there have been rumors that Rocksteady Studio is developing a video game that focuses on DC Comics’ Suicide Squad.
