With the coming of Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dog, Riot has released their annual Lunar Revel event to celebrate. With the event, new skins, chromas, icons, and missions are now available for players to gain some exclusive items.

New Skins and Chromas

Three new skins have been released for the Luna Revel event, Lunar Empress Lux, Lunar Guardian Nasus, and Lunar Guardian Warwick. Each of these skins features a golden and Asian theme to go along with the Chinese New Year celebration. In addition, golden chromas for Lunar Wraith Caitlyn, Guqin Sona, Dragonwing Corki, Warring Kingdoms Katarina, Warring Kingdoms Garen, and Dragonblade Riven will now be available to be unlocked through Revel Tokens.

Missions and Revel Tokens

With the coming of Lunar Revel, missions have also been added for players to get Revel Tokens and event exclusive loot. Revel Tokens can be used to redeem several different items just like in past events. The first mission, “Arrival of the Demigods” and the last mission “Restore Peace” will give players the event exclusive Year of the Dog Icon and Emote, respectively. Other missions will give players varying amounts of Revel Tokens as well as some blue essence for certain missions. As in previous events, Revel Tokens can be exchanged for blue essence and key fragments, but there are several other exclusive prizes. The Revel Orb can be bought for 44 Revel Tokens and contains at least one skin shard with a chance to contain a Revel Grab Bag, Golden Revel Token, Gemstone, or a Gemstone Skin Shard. For 52 Tokens, players can get a Revel Skin Shard and for 62 Tokens, the Lunar Empress Lux, Lunar Guardian Warwick, and Lunar Guardian Nasus Borders and Icons are available. The most expensive prize is the Golden Revel Token that players can get for 96 Revel Tokens and can be used to obtain one of the aforementioned golden chromas.
