If you think we’re done with our list, well, we’re not. In our previous articles, we gave you a list of the most anticipated games in 2018. To further increase your anticipation, here are seven games set for January release.

Dying: Reborn

Dying: Reborn is a dark-themed horror puzzle game from NEXCOM Entertainment, Coconut Island Games, and Oasis Games. It features a series of dark and eerie environments that gives the player a unique first-person escape room experience. Its gameplay revolves around collecting, discovering, and putting together pieces to create a twisted story that is beyond your imagination.

Street Fighter V Arcade Edition

Street Fighter V Arcade Edition is the first major and most-awaited updated version of the Street Fighter V for gaming computers. Its core is similar to the latter but with various quality of life improvements and additional modes. It also features a new UI, second V-triggers, and a bonus stage. While its modes include arcade mode, extra battle mode, gallery, and team battle mode.

Lost Sphear

January 23

Lost Sphear is a Japanese role-playing video game from Tokyo RPG Factory and Square Enix. It introduces the players to the story of a young lad, who has suffered a phenomenon that he had never seen, and must face an ominous power that threatens the fabric of reality. To save everything, he must learn how to awaken the Power of Memory to restore all that was lost.

Iconoclasts

January 23

Iconoclasts is an action platformer video game from Joakim Sandberg and Bifrost Entertainment. The player takes control of a renegade mechanic named Robin as he uncovers the secrets of a dying planet. The game features a world filled with intricate puzzles, interesting characters, and menacing bosses all in tacked in a beautiful platform adventure that tells a fascinating story about helping people.

Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds

Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds brings a fresh take on the classic turn-based combat and tactics that the JRPG genre has introduced to us. The game features a beautifully hand-drawn world filled with curious creatures, devastating wars, and tales of vengeance and redemption. It lets the player embark on an epic adventure and fight alongside the Fatebounds to bring peace to the land of Legrand.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

January 26

Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest video game from the Dragon Ball series. Together with Arc System Works, Dragon Ball FighterZ features high-end Anime graphics and an easy-to-learn but difficult-to-master fighting gameplay. It also has exciting online features that include ranked matches, interactive lobby, and crazy 6-player party match. The game even lets players build their dream team with its 3vs3 Tag/Support for you to sharpen your skills and master high-speed tag combinations.

Monster Hunter: World

January 26

Monster Hunter World is the upcoming action RPG video game from Capcom. It is also the fifth installment title in their Monster Hunter franchise. As with the previous games, the player assumes the role of a Hunter that is tasked by the “Research Commission” to either hunt down, kill, or capture large monsters that roam outside their central base of Astera. The game is said to feature larger maps, four-player online co-op, and seamless transitions between zones in the map.
