Prey is a first-person shooter video game from Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios. The game introduces the protagonist named Morgan Yu, who lives in a space station known as Talon I. However, as Talon I orbits around Earth-Moon L2, a hostile alien collective known as Typhon escapes its confinement. The players must use a variety of weapons and abilities derived from the Typhon to survive. It was described by many critics as a “luxurious sci-fi playground.”
Halo Wars 2
Halo Wars 2 is an RTS video game from 343 Industries and Creative Assembly. It is set in a sci-fi universe of Halo Wars in the year 2559 and is the sequel to the 2009 video game Halo Wars. In this game, we see the return the UNSC warship Spirit of Fire and its crew. Players are also introduced to a new alien faction called “The Banished.”
Torment: Tides of Numenera
Torment: Tides of Numenera is an RPG game set in the world of Monte Cook’s new tabletop RPG setting: Numenera. The game has a thematically satisfying story, and a world unlike any other. It lets the player journey across the Ninth World, with its awe-inspiring visuals and stunning feats of magic. The game serves as the thematic successor to one of the best RPG games of all times, Planescape: Torment.
The Surge is a sci-fi, action RPG game from Deck13 Interactive and Focus Home Interactive released for Microsoft Windows gaming computers. The game introduces us to a dystopian future where humanity has exhausted the world’s resources. It starts with the protagonist waking up, equipped with a heavy-grade exoskeleton which he uses to fight his enemies.
Lawbreakers is an FPS video game from Boss Key Productions and Nexon. The game encourages players to bring all their skills and prepare to deliver death from every angle in its gravity-defying competition. It has a fast-paced, omnidirectional multiplayer FPS combat, unlike anything you’ve seen before. The game lets players choose from one of the nine roles, and battle out on gravity-defying maps that will leave you with an adrenaline rush.
Outlast 2 is the most-awaited sequel to Red Barrels 2013 survival horror video game, Outlast. The game introduces us to a new protagonist, a journalist named Blake Langermann. He and his wife Lynn, roams the Arizona desert to explore and investigate the murder of a pregnant Jane Doe. Their investigation will soon lead them to a dilapidated rural area in Supai, where cults still exist.
The Evil Within 2
Released in October 2017, The Evil Within 2 is the sequel to the highly-acclaimed psychological horror video game of the same title. In the sequel, Detective Sebastian Castellanos descends again to the nightmarish world of the STEM to save her daughter Lily. There he will be faced with many adversaries and must survive the onslaught of terrifying creatures that are determined to rip him apart.
