The hype is on for Netflix’s Iron Fist DC Series, and it seems that the guys in Riot found this as an inspiration to build a Legendary skin for the Ionian Blind Monk, Lee Sin. On March 20, a teaser video was uploaded on their official Facebook account with the caption “Immortal sight cannot be obscured.”
The teaser video shows the blind monk with his eyes blindfolded as usual. A surge of energy seemed to be released from his body, and he opened his eyes, appearing as a pair of golden orbs shining under the eye wraps. The wraps are then burned from the energy, revealing his golden eyes and his new immortal sight. After a day, it was announced to be on the Public Beta Environment as God Fist Lee Sin.
According to Riot, God Fist Lee Sin has come to seek a new challenge that will push him into ascension and transform him into a god. After a fruitless search for the worthy opponent, he believes that he will find it in the battlefields of Summoner’s Rift.
God Fist Lee Sin will feature all new-model showing through his muscular model, divine markings, and third eye headpiece. His attacks and abilities will strike with transcendent power. It will also come with a plethora of features and was revealed to be a legendary skin which will likely cost to be 1820 RP.
The skin was inspired by Marvel’s Iron Fist, his appearance resembling Daniel Rand from the said TV show which was released on Netflix days before the skin was initially released on the PBE. His body markings, on the other hand, was said to be inspired by the markings of Airbenders from the cartoon TV Show Avatar: The Last Airbender.
God Fist Lee Sin will also be the first skin where Lee Sin isn’t blind. The skin also comes with the Golden Fist Ward Skin for 640 RP.
God Fist Lee Sin and the Golden Fist Ward Skin is now available in the store. If you want to check the skin, make sure to update your League of Legends program on your gaming PC.
