After eight years, Platinum Games universally acclaimed action masterpiece game Bayonetta has come to PC, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. With the success of their NieR: Automata, fans couldn’t be more excited to experience its over-the-top stylish action in 60fps and 4K HD resolution as promised by the legendary director Hideki Kamiya of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.

According to Sega, Bayonetta for gaming PC will also feature anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, scalable texture, SSAO lighting, shadow quality, and more. The game also supports keyboard and mouse control, although it is noted by Sega that a controller will be the best device fitted to experience the game at its finest.

With Platinum Games involved with the PC port of the game, players can expect an interactive combat similar to Devil May Cry and NieR: Automata, and experience a solid flashy action game they will surely love.

Bayonetta is the name of the game’s main protagonist. She is the last survivor of an ancient witch clan, who is tasked to keep the balance between light, dark, and chaos. After being entombed for 500 years to protect herself, she is discovered by an informant named Enzo, her awakening sparks a chain of events with cataclysmic repercussions. Now, she must go straight into battle against countless angelic enemies and fight for the future.

Bayonetta for PC will be available exclusively on Steam. This means it supports many of Steam’s services featuring Steam achievements, cloud saves, leaderboards, trading cards, and Big Picture Mode.

“It is one of the most requested PC conversions of our games, so finally being able to launch it on Steam is fantastic.” said Sega Europe Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing in a press release regarding Bayonetta.

It is also rumored that more Sega video games will be coming to PC this 2017, and we couldn’t be more excited.
