The game has no goals or missions to complete; it is a free world where you can do anything you want from exploration, trading, and discovery. The only thing you need to do is to survive in its infinite procedurally generated universe.

The RimWorld is a sci-fi colony sim game driven by an intelligent AI storyteller. It is inspired the game Dwarf Fortress, the TV series, Firefly, and the Frank Herbert’s novel, the Dune. The game challenges the player to create a colony by starting with three shipwreck survivors. You have to manage everything about your colonists, including their moods, illness, wounds, and needs while trying to make your colony into a haven.
