A week away from E3 2016, Ubisoft finally decided to drop the bomb–the teaser video for the announcement of “Watch Dogs 2”. The official trailer and details about the sequel game will be officially unveiled on June 8 at 9AM PDT/12PM EST. You can watch it’s live stream at Watch Dogs 2 official site.

The original game was first released on 2014 for Windows gaming PC, XBox and PS consoles. It is a third-person shooter stealth video game in an open-world gameplay set in the city of Illinois, Chicago. The game follows the story of Aiden Pearce, a highly-skilled hacker whose criminal past led to the death of his niece. The game allows the player to hack into the city’s central operating system (ctOS) to stop his enemies.

According to Ubisoft’s Lionel Raynaud, players can expect radical changes with the sequel of Watch Dogs. The first game has several flaws and several goals that are quite repetitive. Hence, this sequel will offer diverse missions and provide new features for a new gaming experience. The game also lets you interact, cooperate, and confront with other players via multiplayer.

The teaser image shows someone’s hand holding a phone. Many say that it is unlikely Pearce’s hand because of the skin color. Rumor has it Watch Dogs 2 will feature a new character, giving us a new storyline to discover and a new city to explore. Although Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed this, the sequel just might have a new protagonist.

Dedsec might be in the sequel. If you look closer, the message in the phone comes from him.
